The rooms were comfortably furnished and individually decorated with balcony, an excellent bath plus large bathroom, that's all we needed. The breakfast offered was savoury and freshly prepared with great views out of the windows.

Couple's charming getaway
We had a really lovely experience, especially watching the sunrise from our room, it was amazing! The private hot tub on our terrace was a real treat too, warm and perfect.
Wasn't exactly cheap,, but for the experience, it was still acceptable.

Upon arriving at Orestone Manor, I felt welcomed by the staff. They greeted me with warmth and were genuinely helpful. The sea view from my room was fine. Nothing beats enjoying a drink while soaking in the hot tub on the private terrace. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, with a great variety of choices. I appreciated the personalized touches, like asking about dietary preferences. The pillows were not very comfortable. They felt cheap, affecting sleep quality. WiFi connection also struggled in my room. The dining experience delivered high-quality meals. I had some of the best food here. The restaurant service was attentive. I didn't experience any major issues , so the positives definitely overshadowed the negatives.

The hotel was a cozy base for our adventures, like visiting the Paignton Zoo and enjoying the excitement at Newton Abbot racecourse. The staff were super friendly, and the late breakfast options were a lifesaver. Make sure to try their delicious cream tea while you're there, it's a must! Can't wait to come back.
I do wish there were more accessible options as the stairs could be a challenge for some guests.

The car charging facilities are a letdown with a steep standard charge, and the weak Wi-Fi in room 12 makes streaming movies a struggle. I felt a lack of personal engagement from the restaurant staff. Friendly eye contact and acknowledgment would enhance the dining experience significantly. The atmosphere might come off as a bit quiet, lacking the buzz one might expect, especially during lunch.
